Come experience foliage sensations from around the world!
The program will feature Henry Callan, a traveler, member of the New England Appraisers’ Association, well-known lecturer, and teacher. The event is open to the public and features free admission. The Warren Senior Center is located on Main Street in West Warren; the public is welcome.
Mr. Callan is a resident of East Sandwich and holds Master’s Degrees in both Library Science and History. He enjoys travel and lived in France for four years. Later, he joined the “Floating University” and sailed around the world as a member of the ship’s faculty. Henry Callan has entertained dozens of historical societies, libraries, and clubs on the topics of plants, gardens, antiques, folk art, Chinese export porcelain, American samplers, quilts and coverlets, and the glass flowers at Harvard University. He became interested in antiques at the age of thirteen, when he purchased his first antique clock and he has been buying and selling antiques professionally since 1969.
